Where should I place the Forecee Beauty Lamp and how should I position myself during Beauty mode?
For optimal results, place the Forecee Beauty Lamp beside your bed or on a surface where you can lie down comfortably during the 10-minute session. Ideally, the bed or surface should be at a similar height to the base of the lamp.
Once you activate Beauty mode, the RED lamp head will extend automatically — you’ll hear a short beep when it reaches its working position.
At this point, simply make sure your face is centered under the RED lamp head at its working position and stay in a relaxed, natural position.
How far should my face be from the RED lamp head during Beauty mode?
For best results, keep your face about 8—12 inches (20—30 cm) from the RED lamp head.
If your bed or surface is roughly level with base of the lamp, you’ll naturally be at the ideal distance — whether you’re lying flat or resting on a soft pillow.
Do I need to wear an eye goggle or mask during a session in Beauty mode?
Yes. For best results and extra comfort, wear the eye goggle (included in the box) or mask during each red-light-therapy session.
How long is a session in Beauty mode and how often should I use it?
Each red-light-therapy session lasts about 10 minutes.
For best results, we recommend using it 3—5 times a week.
In Beauty mode, what are the wavelengths and power density (or irradiance) of the LEDs used?
In Beauty mode, the Forecee Beauty Lamp uses red LEDs at 634 nm and infrared LEDs at 860 nm.
Both LEDs are supplied by Osram, one of the world's leading LED manufacturers, to ensure excellent wavelength accuracy and consistency.
The power density (or irradiance) of the RED lamp is typically 40—60 mW/cm^2 (measured at 8 in / 20 cm underneath the RED lamp head).
Can Beauty mode and Reading mode be turned on at the same time?
No. The reading lamp will automatically turn off once Beauty mode is activated. And during Beauty mode, the reading lamp can not be turned on.
